About Our Pod
We welcome students ages 5 to 9 years old to join our community-based homeschool program!
Philosophies We Believe In
We embrace the philosophies of Montessori learning by focusing on educating the whole child and respecting each one’s individuality in a supportive and nurturing environment where they can grow intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. Our goal is to help foster their intrinsic motivation and activate their natural desire to learn. We allow space and opportunities for them to be creative, imaginative, and express themselves. An appreciation of and connection to nature also plays an important role in the education of the child.
This pod was started in 2023 because a group of homeschooling families was looking for more enriching learning opportunities for their kids. Having taught in public schools for the previous 5 years, I was completely disheartened by the system and eager to explore another way of educating. Thus, began Treehouse Pod! What started as 6 students in 2023-2024 has grown to 16 students in 2025-2026.
Our families have banded together over a mutual belief in medical freedom, alternative education models, and an agreement that young children should be protected from the pressures of growing up too quickly. We embrace families with an open mindset and complementary goals, who are willing to invest time, energy, and love into the success of all.
